Biography:


    Donald J. Arnold was born in Havre de Grace, Maryland in 1961. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar and authorized to practice law before all Maryland Courts on December 29, 1986, thereafter being admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland on January 16, 1987, the U.S. Court of Appeals (Fourth Circuit) on April 10, 1991, and the U. S. Supreme Court on July 16, 1993. His educational background includes graduating from Bel Air High School in 1979, Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry (Cum Laude) from West Virginia University in 1983, and University of Maryland School of Law (with honors) in 1986. He is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Maryland Trial Lawyers Association, and Harford County Bar Association.

    Mr Arnold is a long time resident of Harford County, with deep ties to Harford County and Maryland. He is descended on his paternal grandmother's side of the family from original Maryland colonists arriving on the Arc and Dove in 1634 establishing the colony. His parents owned Arnold TV and Appliance in Bel Air for almost 40 years until it was closed by retirement in 1997. He is married with one child and two cats.

    Mr. Arnold has successfully represented clients at all levels of the Maryland State Court system, including the Court of Appeals, the Court of Special Appeals, various Circuit Courts, various District Courts, various Orphan's Courts, and various administrative courts including the Office of Administrative Hearings, Workers' Compensation Commission and Maryland Tax Court.
